The Shaman Village day ticket allows you to move freely in the area and participate in a variety of engaging activities for the whole family. Enjoy the wonders of the Finnish winter and the traditional lifestyle with shamanic presence looming. During your visit to the village, you can explore the shaman hut, where evil spirits have been evicted from tourists over the decades. Meet the reindeers and commemorate yourself in a photo with them. Decorate gingerbread cookies in a hut by the fire, try the traditional kick sledding and hill sledding. We offer hot drinks and snacks for our guests.
The day ticket to the Shaman Village is valid between the hours of 10 am to 3 pm.
With a Day Ticket, you’re free to explore our wide range of experiences:
- Shaman’s Hut: Discover the unique history of this hut, where for decades, ceremonies have been held to ward off evil spirits.
- Reindeer Encounter: Get up close with real Lapland reindeer! You’ll have the chance to meet these magnificent animals and capture unforgettable photos.
- Gingerbread Decorating: Enjoy the cosy atmosphere of our small hut and decorate gingerbread cookies by the warmth of the fire.
- Suopunki Throwing: The suopunki, or lasso, has traditionally been used to catch reindeer, but it has also become a fun skill-based activity. Visitors can try their hand at lasso throwing – it’s an enjoyable experience and suitable for anyone looking to test their accuracy.
- Winter Activities: Try out a kicksled on the grounds or slide down our sledding hill – perfect for both kids and adults!
During your visit, we’ll serve you warm beverages and small snacks to make your experience in Lapland’s nature complete. The day ticket is valid from 10 am to 3 pm. Welcome to relax and explore the magic of Shaman Village!
